Aryans Group Hosts Vibrant Inter-Zonal Youth Festival; MRSPTU Main Campus Emerges Overall Champion

MOHALI: The two-day 10th Inter-Zonal Youth Festival of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, concluded on a vibrant note at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh. Over 25 colleges and thousands of students participated under the theme “Virsa te Vikas”, celebrating Punjabi heritage, creativity and youth empowerment.

Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Vice Chancellor of MRSPTU, graced the event as the chief guest, while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman of Aryans Group, presided over the ceremony. Prof. Bhupinder Pal Singh Dhot, Director of Sports & Youth Welfare, coordinated the festival. Applauding Aryans Group, Dr. Sharma praised the flawless execution of the event and said such festivals play a crucial role in shaping confident and culturally aware youth. He commended Aryans for creating a strong platform to nurture talent and preserve cultural heritage.

Dr. Anshu Kataria expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, MRSPTU officials, faculty, and students, adding that hosting the event was a proud moment for Aryans. The participation of more than 25 colleges reflects the trust and collaborative spirit of the academic community, he said.

The festival concluded with the announcement of category-wise winners. MRSPTU Main Campus, Bathinda, secured the overall trophy, followed by Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology, Bathinda, and Punjab State Aeronautical Engineering College, Patiala. MRSPTU Main Campus also dominated the Dance, Theatre, Literary and Fine Arts categories, while BFCET excelled in Music.
