PATNA, Nov 13 (IANS) — On the eve of the Bihar Assembly election results, the NDA exuded confidence that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will return to power for a record 10th term. Counting of votes for the keenly contested elections will take place on November 14.
BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal told IANS that the people of Bihar had once again placed their faith in the NDA’s development agenda and leadership. “The voters participated enthusiastically, and the work done under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, combined with the trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will ensure a massive majority for the NDA. Abki Baar NDA Sarkar!” he said.
Jaiswal also noted that polling was peaceful across the state with no incidents of violence or re-polling, which he said reflected public trust in the government. JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar echoed the sentiment, stating that “the people of Bihar no longer want Tejashwi Yadav or the INDIA bloc,” and that Nitish Kumar remained the “people’s choice for stability and progress.”
BJP leader Ram Kripal Yadav added, “The result is clear even before the counting begins. The NDA will win with a huge majority, and Nitish Kumar will once again take oath as Chief Minister.”
